About me – Beallara

My name is Txell Fàbregas. I was born in Barcelona and grew up between this city and the Costa Brava, a privileged environment of sea and mountain that, from very small, aroused in me a deep admiration for nature. There I discovered my fascination for all the animals and natural elements, something that has always marked my way of looking and understanding the world.

At the age of 18, I moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where I graduated in Marine Sciences. Later on, I continued my life trajectory in the Azores, another area of lush nature that revived that link with the natural environment. During all those years, I developed technical work related to the protection and study of the natural environment.

Over time, I felt the need to reconnect with my most artistic and creative side, which led me to start the path to artisan jewelry, which today is my form of expression and my project of life.

I self-taught myself to learn jewelry by setting up a small workshop at home. Later, I continued my training in the district of Gràcia (Barcelona), where I discovered not only new techniques, but also the importance of finding a personal language in each creation.

Thus was born BEALLARA, my most intimate and personal project, based on my passion for orchids. I grow these plants at home, and this fascination led me to want to capture their beauty and preserve it by transforming them into jewels.

My work is based on a artisan technique with which I can transform organic matter into inorganic, a delicate and laborious process that allows to preserve the original essence and forms of flowers, leaves and other natural elements.

My wish is that every person wearing a BEALLARA jewel will feel that he has a treasure with him, an instant of eternal natural beauty and that he will admire his beauty as I do.
